May 15, 2019 - Floating Dock Installed in Rondeau Provincial Park
RBWA installed a new dock in the Park for kids to fish, canoers to launch from, and waterfowlers to dock at to check in birds. For those who launch at Erieau and Shrewsbury, this should save the drive around the bay at the conclusion of your hunt. The dock was dedicated to a young waterfowler who passed away all too soon. Through his memory many young park patrons will enjoy a new access to the outdoors and location to fish.

May 29, 2019 - Boat Launch Completely Rebuilt at Shrewbury
Spearheaded by Peter Leistra, the RBWA partnered with the Shrewsbury Community Association, Mark Lucio of L's Bait Shop in Shrewsbury, and volunteers of the local community, as a team we were able to remove the old damaged dock and completely rebuild the dock at the Shrewsbury Launch in a single evening! Thanks to Municipality of CK for funding the cost of the materials and the approval of the LTVCA to allow this project to come together so quickly. Everyone involved should be proud of their service to the community, well done!
